The V870 Non Continuous Degausser / Bulk Eraser

The V870 provides a comparatively light Net Weight and compact degausser designed to meet the exacting standards demanded by professional users of 4mm, 8mm and VHS cassettes. The data and broadcast industries will be particularly attracted to the "deep erasure" and high throughput performance of this professional machine that offers many features lacking in more expensive erasers.

High throughput of the media to be degaussed is achieved by a conveyor with a belt speed of 10 inches per second, transporting cassettes over dual erasing coils that ensure clean and effective erasure. The design of the V870 will be of interest, in addition to the broadcast industry, to operators in the duplicating, production, voice logging and instrumentation recording industries, who will benefit from the increase in quality and efficiency that the V870 will bring.
