This lightweight, portable device completely and permanently grinds the information layer off of the media and is 100% effective. All data is eliminated with no possibility of forensic recovery. Operation time is a fast 10 seconds per disk. UNITED STATES: National Security Agency (NSA ) The DX-CDm has been evaluated by NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 04-02 for CD Media Destruction. Please Note: this device was evaluated prior to the release of NSA/CSS specification 04-02. Device was not evaluated for durability. Adhesive labels may prevent destruction of the data and may significantly reduce the device functionality and/or durability.
