EMR Workstation

The EMR Workstation was designed by IT professionals in the medical field to meet the needs of HIPPA regulations and meet new EMR requirements. The EMR features a compartment for a monitor and a seperate compartment for a CPU unit. Both units feature seperate locks allowing the CPU unit only to be accessed by the IT specialist and restricing patient access. Benefits Patients are unable to gain access to patient records. Is typically installed in patient rooms, check in areas, operating rooms and hallways eliminating the need for nurses and doctors to have their own laptop that can be lost or stolen. Meets all HIPPA regulations. Meets new Electronic Medical Record standards by eliminating the need for paper charts as well as providing the utmost security for patient records. Monitor compartment features a 4 digit lock that allows IT professionals to change the code at any given moment when they believe a disgruntled employee or patient may have gained access to the unit. The monitor unit also features a self closing and locking mechanism. The nurse or doctor simply taps the door upwards after using it as a workstation and the door will automatically close and lock. CPU compartment features a key lock. The door functions as a work surface when folded down, and folds up with ease making it ideal for high traffic areas. Door design incorporates compartments for the keyboard and mouse, keeping them in place when the door is closed. Both compartments lock for the utmost in security. • Main unit features an auto-locking code lock to prevent unwanted access to electronic medical records (HIPAA) • Accommodates up to 24” monitor, a keyboard and mouse in the main compartment, and a CPU in the adjacent compartment • Units can be mounted side by side for easy cable hook ups between CPU and accessories • Both compartments feature grommet holes for improved cable management • The CPU unit features a removable door for easy access and a key lock to secure CPU configurations by IT staff • Textured powder coated finish, available in 19 standard colors, not only protects the unit but prevents fingerprinting and reduces glare • All edges of the work surface and fold down door are smooth to prevent snags on clothing or injury to user CONSTRUCTION Monitor Compartment • Constructed primarily of 20 gauge. • Incorporates a design conducive to airflow and assists with the dispersing of heat from the monitor. • Can accommodate up to a 24” monitor. • Gas springs allow the door to self close with minimal assistance. • Electronic lock provides high level of security and also meets HIPPA regulations. • Grommets are located on the bottom and both side panels for cable management. Cables can also be run through the back panel of the unit and through the wall. • Radius front edges add an appealing appearance as well as provide safety in hallways and open areas. • 100% of all painted steel components are powder coated finish; powder coating is the most environmentally safe coating method available today. CPU Compartment • Constructed primarily of 20 gauge. • Secured via key lock. • Incorporates a design conducive to airflow and assists with the dispersing of heat from the CPU. • Grommets are located on the bottom and both side panels for cable management. Cables can also be run through the back panel of the unit and through the wall. • Door is 100% removable for easy access to CPU for IT personnel. • Radius front edges add an appealing appearance as well as provide safety in hallways and open areas. • 100% of all painted steel components are powder coated finish; powder coating is the most environmentally safe coating method available today.
