Cat5 Extension
The LongView series extends a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, microphone, and serial port up to 500 feet away from the computer or KVM switch with one Category 5 (or higher) UTP cable. You can use the computer just as if you were sitting in front of it.

PCI Bus Extension

Wireless Solutions
The Avocent Wireless extension switching solutions let you wirelessly extend connections between monitors, keyboards, mice and audio devices up to 100 ft. indoors, providing both switching and A/V broadcasting capabilities without the need for cables.

The transmitter/receiver that comprise the LongView and AutoView Wireless products connect directly to local devices, and serves as the radio interface link allowing the computer to connect to the receiver and/or broadcast secure audio and high-resolution video data, even through walls.

Both product lines are designed on 802.11a standards, provide secure connections through AES, and feature proprietary video compression technology and link layer protocol for additional security. Its' industry standard design makes AutoView Wireless compatible with virtually any PC, display technology and operating system.
