Fan Option
If laptops are being networked as well as powered, then the optional exhaust fan is recommended. The FAN option comes complete with automatic ON/OFF switch that engages on door closure and disengages on door opening.

Cable Management Arms for Laptop Drawer
Includes 1 Cable Arm, installed into the back of the cabinet, that
escorts the power cord from the drawer into the 9 outlet power bar in the back. Also includes 1  Cable Arm, installed in the back of the drawer, that escorts the network cables from the cable trough to the Laptop drawer. Also includes 2 flexible nylon cable wraps and installation of the cable arms.

Pre-Cabling for Network application
Cat 6cable installed and labeled on both ends. Labeling is standard as 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B etc..

Data-Link will supply and pre-cable the cabinet with CAT 6 cables (white) and the cables will exit the cabinet where ever desired (Bottom L or R, Top L or R) please specify.  There will be 6 ft of cable outside of the cabinet wall so they can be connected to a switch.

Switch Platform Drawer
This drawer is roll-out and has a platform to allow the cables under it. Cables from all the other drawers will come into the switch drawer through the rear of it, under the platform and up into the switch. The
switch drawer requires 4.5” of space and can be located anywhere in the cabinet. Please remember that you will lose one laptop drawer space for every switch drawer.
